In this unit, three books from the "Frog and Toad" series by Arnold Lobel will be featured.  Each lesson comes complete with accompanying comprehension questions and a writing prompt to extend students' reading experiences.  Also, a "final draft" writing template has been included for each chapter's writing.  As a part of writer's workshop in my classroom, children choose which writing pieces they will take through to completion.  Students can choose to use the templates online and print them themselves if they wish.
